Are you looking for a great spot for happy hour? Got it.

Are you looking for some football tailgates? Got it.

Read below for help planning your weekly fun, and don’t forget to share your own wins on social with #FrayLife #JaxFray on social for a chance to be regrammed!

– The HEAL Foundation (Helping Enrich Autistic Lives) is looking for some support! Head to Surfer in Jax Beach and donate to a great cause, while sipping on some cocktails at the HEAL Happy hour.

– For all you ladies that like wine and like design, the Liz Stewart Floral Design Studios is giving you the chance! August’s design will focus on one of Liz’s favorite late summer flowers, the Dahlia. It’s BYOB, but you do get some snacks and a learning opportunity.

 – Like beer? Want it discounted? If you answered yes & yes, then go to Green Room and run an easy 3 miles for it. Enough said.

 – Hoptinger is featuring Friends trivia and I am particularly excited for this trivia topic! If you ever watched Friends and think you know the show at all, go to Hoptinger with some of your own friends and show off your knowledge while sippin’ on some adult beverages. Joey & Chandler would be proud.

– From 6:30-9:30, Southern Swells Brewing Co. is holding a crafts night for you! While you learn to make a single beer bottle opener, you get plenty of opportunities for customization…and drinks. Yes, most importantly, a lot of drinks.

– I’m going to be honest, I hadn’t heard of Brett Dennen before I learned he played with Jason Mraz. But anyways, go to Daily’s Place at 8 PM for this GOOD VIBES concert...That’s their tour name, by the way. Not just me being too enthusiastic (but we all know I am).

– Anyone love a dinner that offers a bit of entertainment? For $60, enjoy a drink, your dinner, dessert, AND a little murder mystery! Might sound cheesy, but also sounds delicious.

– For only $25, the Downtown Jacksonville Rotaract Club is proud to present Drafts, Dogs, & Duval, where you root for the Jags as they take on the Minnesota Vikings! While enjoying food, tailgate-inspired yard games, and great, locally-brewed beer, it’s totally worth it.

– Ever heard of Local Haunts? Well, if not, it’s a TV show on CW17 Jacksonville. Steve Christian and spiritual medium Pamela Theresa investigate local paranormal hot spots for ghosts (spooky, right?). Well, these stars are coming to hang out at Eco Relics for free, so come & bring all your creepy ghost-based questions with you!

Sunday, August 19

– At Rue Saint-Marc, they will be having a local seafood & oyster roast from noon to 4 PM, so come prepared to get your grub on! Tickets include roasted gulf oysters, French-style seafood, and one complimentary glass of Pommery champagne.

– With Beautifully Divine DIY Woodcraft Studio & Custom Gift Boutique hosting these “Pick your Project” workshops every month, you can get the August deal for only $20. So if you’re bored and have a couple bucks to spare, make a creative plank design and bring some beer for a fun night.

Monday, August 20

– Might sound like a weird activity for a Monday night, but NOVA’s 44th annual training event is always great to raise awareness. The National Organization for Victim Assistance will be celebrating the tremendous things that crime victim advocates, first responders and all the crime that society helps stop. Sounds like a big event, so help create some change!

– At the Mellow Mushroom in Avondale, join the party people at 7 PM for some trivia. It’s free to play, there’s awesome prizes for the winners, and they have awesome beer specials and pizza. Win, win.

Tuesday, August 21

Painting with a Twist is doing an offsite painting class for the public at…(drumroll, please)…Aardwolf Brewery, which is a lot better than the studio! You can grab a beer before you paint, while you paint after you paint, whatever. But you can paint and get drunk the whole time, so why not?!

– If you love watching people fall in love (I’m a romantic sap), go ahead and watch Kiss Me, Kate at the Alhambra Theatre! Starting at 6 PM, this show is a dazzling Broadway classic that earned the very first Tony Award for Best Musical (ya know, if you like musicals…).

Your next 7 days of fun starts NOW. So buckle up, and take on the week!
