After last weekend’s cold and windy weather, Jacksonvillians are, no doubt, eager to enjoy more agreeable temperatures. The good news is there are tons of fun activities on the calendar, many of which take place in the outdoors. Whether you’re willing to try something new and peculiar, like goat yoga or excited to enjoy a stand-up comedy show, Jacksonville has plenty of options for making the most of the weekend. Full Moon Goat Yoga
What is a more positive experience than a bunch of cute goats jumping on you while you’re in Warrior position? Little Peeps Farmer for a Day hosts recurring goat yoga on Thursdays and Fridays, but you only capture the cool, full-moon atmosphere on the Thursday night sessions. All of the goats are friendly and some are even snuggly. Cuteness alert: The baby goats have a ton of spunk, so be prepared for them to climb all over you. Classes are currently limited to 10-15 people, so sign up early. The Band Be Easy
Playing at The Local in Neptune Beach, The Band Be Easy is a Jacksonville fan-favorite. This band has roots in soul music, but is known for tearing up the tunes across multiple genres, including rock, jazz, country and pop. Voted the #1 cover and jazz band in the 904, The Band Be Easy will charm their way into your heart while you sip on one of The Local’s amazing Raspberry Bliss cocktails. Trey Kennedy: Are You For Real? Tour
Trey Kennedy is blessing Jacksonville with two shows on Friday night. This comedian, actor, and singer is immensely talented and touring all over Florida on his Are You For Real? Tour. He will be performing in Jacksonville at the Times-Union Center at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Friday night. Super Girl Surf Pro
This event is surely going to be quite popular and very crowded. The Super Girl Surf Pro Series has been going on for 15 years, but this will be the first time it takes place in Jacksonville Beach. Aside from the star surfers, many of which include Olympic athletes, the entertainment venue also includes several bands, (like the Expendables and Plain White T’s), DJs, celebrity speakers, video games and more. The festival is centered around empowering women, specifically through surfing, and provides an opportunity to highlight positive cultural and social messages for women. Free. Caffeine and Octane
Who doesn’t love a good car show? The Avenues Mall is hosting Caffeine and Octane, a car enthusiast’s dream weekend. With classic Ford Broncos, old-school BMWs, and more, Caffeine and Octane is joining forces with Jacksonville Car Culture to relaunch North Florida’s most popular monthly car show. And the best part: the event is totally free to spectators. If you want to show your vehicle, you can simply submit a form. This event is wildly popular and travels along the Southeast coast. Yoga in the Park
A free yoga class in Atlantic Beach? Say no more. Beaches Well Fest and Hot Spot Power Yoga are teaming up to offer a free class to all the yogis out there who love to be outdoors and get flexible. This class will be on the basketball court at the Jack Russell park. And an extra incentive to attend is the opportunity to enjoy the farmers market that takes place, right after class.
