Handbuilding Teapots at Murray Hill Art Center
Learn to make an elegant and functional teapot using hand building techniques. You will learn how to design an ergonomic handle, a spout that pours cleanly and a built-in strainer that is useful for looseleaf tea. Participants will have the option to glaze their own pot once it’s bisqued, or choose a glaze from a limited selection and their work will be glazed for them after the workshop. Work will be ready for pick up within four weeks after the workshop. Artful Movement with Yoga 4 Change at MOCA Jacksonville
In collaboration with local non-profit Yoga 4 Change, Artful Movement is an all-levels yoga class that takes place in the galleries at MOCA Jacksonville. Experienced instructors will lead each class, offering modifications to poses to allow every student to participate at their own level. These classes are designed for all ages and practice levels.
