Warning: You’ll Have Serious FOMO if You Don’t Hit Up These Summer Festivals at SeaWalk Pavilion

You’re missing something, and I know what it is. It is a CHANCE to party and play and jam out to music with a good beer in your hands. AND I know just where you can find it – The Jacksonville Beach SeaWalk Pavilion! If you’re in need of a good time, the ongoing events of this city have got you covered.

Beaches Freedom Festival – July 14

On July 14, the Beaches Freedom Festival will be taking place from noon to 10 PM. The goal of this festival, like many others, is to bring the community together in a matter of fun and enjoyment! Featuring Jacksonville’s top food trucks, local and regional music artists, and a beer garden with all the American favorites, this party is a MUST.

#FrayLifeTip: There are a lot of photographers at this one, so it’s a good chance to grab some high quality, free photos!

Void Pro-Am Surf Contest – July 28

With the surfing community being huge in Jacksonville (even with the waves being tiny), a lot of people come out to the Jacksonville Beach Pier to watch the Void Pro-Am Surf Contest! If you want to see the area’s top surfing talent compete for a chance to win $3,500 in the PRO division, come out at 9 AM for a show!

#FrayLifeTip: This occurs not exactly at the SeaWalk Pavilion, but right next to it at the pier. Just follow the crowd for the correct direction.

Jacksonville Beach Summer Arts Market – July 28

The 2nd Summer Arts Market is back by popular demand! From 10 AM to 4 PM, this artsy fartsy festival is going down at the SeaWalk Pavilion. Local artists sell unique arts and crafts along 1st street, giving you the chance to get something spectacular. If you need an event to drink with your friends and admire some pretty art, take advantage of this!

#FrayLifeTip: Some of these vendors have some really reasonable prices, so go ahead and look around for a hidden gem!

Tour de Pain – August 3

The Tour de Pain isn’t exactly a festival, but a 4-mile beach run! Starting at the SeaWalk Pavilion at 6:30 PM, you run 2 miles out and 2 miles back. This Tour de Pain was given its name because, if you want to be bold and complete the whole event, you have the option to race a 5K AND a one-mile race the following day (just at different times for a little extra recovery).

#FrayLifeTip: They kind-of purposely plan the races during some of the hottest times of the day for a little extra pain.

Beauty and the Beast Moonlight Movie – September 14

The newly done version of Beauty and the Beast will be playing on the big screen at the SeaWalk Pavilion at 8 PM! Looking for a romantic date with some good ambiance? Some moonlit views? This is the WAY. For a free movie outdoors under the moonlight, bring your hot date and start watching the show (and crossing your fingers for some fireworks).

#FrayLifeTip: You may want to bring your own blanket and alcohol because they only provide so much of this stuff.

Whether a festival sounds appealing or a surf contest seems entertaining, the SeaWalk Pavilion is the spot to meet for a good time. Or even if you’re one of those crazy active people that can handle the Tour de Pain, there is always something going down in Jax Beach.
