Live Music at Veterans United Craft Brewery
Veterans United Craft Brewery, will be featuring their local and talented regular performers, Tim and Jerry, for some live tunes on Friday night. The duo’s music ranges from classic rock to country to the blues and even more. Veterans United is a small, independent craft brewery, and they just released a new brew — Rifleman’s Irish Red Ale, brewed with English hops, pale malt, a touch of roasted barley for color, and fermented with English Ale Yeast. 6-9 p.m. Free. Harley-Davidson
With the notorious “Bike Week” taking place now in Daytona Beach, the Harley-Davidson crew will be riding north to Jacksonville for the last three days of the trip, from March 11 to 13. While the following is not as big as the Daytona “Bike Week,” all the motorcycle junkies can still get excited about the crew coming to Jacksonville, especially with the live music and vendors that will be on site. Caffeine and Octane
At the Avenues Mall, spectators can enjoy more than 1000 unique cars, trucks, and more. “Caffeine and Octane” is an all-makes and all-models show, so you could unexpectedly see a very distinctive vehicle that enthuses you. The crowd is passionate and friendly, with live music and other forms of entertainment available. 8-11 a.m. Free. Felipe Peláez
On his “20 Tour USA,” Felipe Peláez is making a stop in Jacksonville. His upbeat latino music and passionate lyrics led to a nomination for the Latin Grammys in 2012. He also recorded the single “Vestirte de amor,” which was the leader in the Colombian music charts for over a week. With doors opening at 9pm, his concert is supposedly taking place all night long. Wand Making Class
For all you “Harry Potter” fanatics, the perfect opportunity has just presented itself: a wand making class. Worthwich School of Wizardry is hosting a two hour woodworking and wandlore class, using original real wood. The group will learn about the history of wandlore, the magical properties of wand woods and cores, and the importance of combining the four main elements of wood, core, length, and design for the perfect wand. Zach Williams
Southern rock, country, and faith-filled songwriting, Zach Williams and special guest Anne Wilson are going to put on quite the show at the Florida Theatre this Sunday. If you like contemporary Christian music or want to attend a local concert, this performance is said to be a “night of music and ministry that will fill your heart and have you singing along all night long.” 7 p.m. $23+. Is there any better way to make a Monday less mundane than by attending a WWE Raw event? These superstar athletes will wrestle each other, for the sake of choreographed entertainment, in a way that seems completely realistic. “2022 Tapping Party to Defeat ALS”
Who wants a night of fun, while also supporting a good cause? This group will be tapping the Irish Red Ale, while also enjoying live music, participating in drawings for gift baskets, and undergoing a raffle for a signed Gardner Minshew t-shirt.
