Classic Albums Live
For those who do not know, Classic Albums Live is a rock series in which the band chooses an album and plays through the entire set of songs. For Pink Floyd fans, Classic Albums Live will be playing Dark Side of the Moon this Saturday at the Florida Theatre.“Classic Albums Live knows how to perform this album,” Craig Martin, founder of Classic Albums Live, says. “It’s complex and full of soul. Just getting the alarm clocks together was a feat, with all of the little voices. Then, you had to find someone [who] could sing ‘Great Gig in the Sky’, and we did, and it’s joyous. The musicians care about this album; it was our flagship show in 2003. It’s a masterpiece that will be remembered forever.” It sounds like it will be a marvelous show, whether you have seen this band in action before or not. 8 p.m. $35+.
