With some pretty hard-to-beat concerts this summer, it may leave you asking, ‘What else is coming up?’ Jacksonville is a huge city in Florida, so, don’t worry, we got you covered! We got all the talent, friends. Maybe you’re planning a date, looking for a good night with friends, or just hoping to catch some good tunes…Whatever the case, read on for the good stuff.

 

Thursday, August 1st 

 

Luke Bryan 

 You may already be amped for this concert. But I must reiterate who is coming to town – LUKE BRYAN. So if you’re a ‘Country Girl’ or just want to have a good time and ‘Drink a Beer’, then you have to make your way out to this concert! (Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena // 7 pm // $35+)

 

Friday, August 2nd 

 

Widespread Panic 

 Performing for three nights in St. Augustine, Widespread Panic is bringing widespread HAPPINESS. A Georgia-based rock band, they are going to light up the Amp, so prepare to rock out. (The Amp St. Augustine // 7 pm // $44+)

 

Sunday, August 4th

 

Dirty Heads & 311 

Dirty Heads is making their way back through Jacksonville! This alternative band from California is switching coasts from west to the east. Since they’re making the time, you should too! They will be playing along with an American rock band, 311, originally from Nebraska. We have so many talented musical superstars coming from all over, y’all! Friday, August 9th

 

Lyle Lovett 

 Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Lyle Lovett will be performing at the Florida Theatre! If you like some real music, sometimes with a little country twang, then you will love Lyle Lovett! Come on, it’s Friday night, grab your friends and make it fun! (The Florida Theatre // 8 pm // $64)

 

Tuesday, August 13th

 

Paul Wall 

 This American rapper is coming to throw down at 1904 Music Hall, so if you are ready for a LIT show, get ‘yoself a ticket. Only a mere $20 to have a great time! (1904 Music Hall // 9pm – 1am // $20)

 

August 14th – 15th

Rebelution 

 If you’re looking for some ‘Roots Reggae Music’, then look no further! Rebelution will be strolling through St. Augustine on their Good Vibes Tour 2019. Get all your reggae-loving, maybe-even-hippy-type friends and head on over to the Amp! (The Amp St. Augustine // 6 pm // $44+)

 

Friday, August 16th

 

Brad Paisley 

 On his 2019 Tour, Brad Paisley is going to rock the stage at Daily’s Place. Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley in the same month?! That’s right, folks. All the country superstars are coming to Jax, so hurry up and get a ticket while they’re left. (Daily’s Place // 7:30 pm // $52+)

Bush + Live 

Two rock bands. One amazing collaboration. Come check out the London-based band, Bush, as they rock out alongside Pennsylvania-based band, Live, on their Altimate Tour! If you’re into loud rock, this is the concert for you! (Daily’s Place // 7 pm // $31+)

 

Tuesday, August 20th

 

Mac Sabbath 

 I actually know a number of people in Jacksonville that love heavy metal. How about when it’s Mac Sabbath? The band is basically a parody of Black Sabbath, except they also use a lot of imagery centered on fast food…It’s unique. (1904 Music Hall // 7 pm // $30)

 

Saturday, August 24th

 

Pentatonix 

Acapella?! In Jacksonville? Heck yea! Pentatonix will be amazing all of us with their incredible voices at Daily’s Place. If you’ve ever watched Pitch Perfect, you know just how good acapella can be. (Daily’s Place // 7:30 pm // $40+)

 

 

Friday, August 30th

 

Chris Brown 

The legendary Chris Brown is coming to Jax. Alongside him will be Ty Dolla Sign, Tory Lanez, and Joyner Lucas. So if you like any of these artists or just want to watch some really talented people all put on a FIRE show, make your way downtown. (Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena // 6:30 pm // $90+)

 

Thursday, September 12th

 

Chris Young 

 American country singer and songwriter, CHRIS YOUNG, will be here in Jax! ‘Raised on Country’, this singer is ready to entertain all of us Jacksonvillians, so break out the cowboy boots and whiskey. (Daily’s Place // 7 pm // $46-106)

 

 

It’s safe to say you have a ton of country music options coming up, but you also have rock, heavy metal, and many more! So now is the time to ask your lucky lady to a concert or bring that cute guy from work to see Luke Bryan. No excuses, people…music makes the heart grow fonder.
